Lake Front Project Proposal
This proposal includes designs for two structures: a small, two-level guest house approximately 500 sq. feet in size; and a larger, three-level main house approximately 2000 sq. feet in size. Both houses have decks and balconies to maximize enjoyment of the lake views. The proposal includes complete interior as well as exterior designs guided by both esthetic and practical considerations. Elevator included.
The site-specific locations of the structures were determined to minimize pier construction expense while still providing excellent lake views enhanced by higher elevation (723' and above). Roofs face South to facilitate futures solar panel installation. Glass walls and windows add passive solar energy as well as natural light to interior spaces.
Wood, stone and glass are the main materials used to create a "French country meets industrial" quality. Note that the use of stone on the Northwest wall of the guest house is optional: wood can be used to reduce expense. Main house includes attached three-car garage driveway plan and basic landscaping designs.
