リフォーム / Facade Design
The concept takes simplicity and the formation of the less aggressive perimeter. On the opposite side of the house there is a dominant porch in Arts & Crafts style with open and closed areas, so at the front of the house I was trying to avoid the same dominance with the simpler moves and lighting witch tends to emphasize the main entrance and access to the house. In some unussual (more stylish)) form, some of the elements are an allusion to the existing style of the house (roof, pillars position). On the facade, as you mentioned, there is one prominent part, and it is this window with a roof that I tried to visually connect with the new porch for the sake of acquiring formal harmony.
The porch is simple, open, because the main entrance should be visible and representative. The porch has a covered and open sections for sitting and resting, although this can be achieved even in covered areas. Poles and a wooden structure consists of wooden beams and pillars. The roof is wooden and covered with sheet metal. The floor consists of a polished plate that can fit into the front of a house.
So,this is my suggested solution for the main entrance and the porch, which is distinguished by its understated strangeness and in a calmer way it introducing us to the house.
