Turn the entry way, wet bar area, pool table area, and family room into a contemporary space that can be used for entertaining. The design should flow nicely between the pool table and wet bar areas into the family room area which will be used most frequently for our own TV watching and eating dinner. We would like to purchase one 55” TV and three 24” TVs for watching football (see drawing) and mount them on a wall (hiding the wires of course) in the family room. I would like to incorporate the dark wood cabinet (dimensions 94.5” x 16.5” x 29.5” – see photo) below the TVs for holding the components (cable boxes, DVD, etc). We have considered incorporating a small table/2 chairs in the nook area or perhaps a console table behind the couch in order for there to be a more comfortable way of eating dinner while watching TV. We have not yet purchased any bar stools for the bar area that connects the kitchen to the family room, so this is open for design consideration.
WHAT WE WANT
We would like to hang our two black jersey cases on the wall in the wet bar area.
We would like to incorporate the 2 black chairs and ottoman if possible somewhere.
We would like to use the existing beige sectional couch.
We would prefer not to move the pool table but would consider doing so for an exceptional design. The black wood pool table has a bright red felt.
The natural color (light) wood entertainment center, coffee table, and end tables seen in the pictures of the family room may be eliminated from your design. In fact, we plan to give them away. To me the light wood just doesn’t work with the darker wood floor.
The wood cabinets in the wet bar area appear to have a hint of cherry in their stain (see photo).
No need to include small black fridge seen in wet bar area.
The ability to go out and purchase exactly what you designed is very important. We are very visual people. The more real you can make the experience the more likely we are to “see” your creation. I really need help choosing furniture and accessories. It is very important for you to include furniture that is available locally in Tampa, FL that I can go touch and see. It will make the experience that much more valuable to us. Places like Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Macy’s, Rooms to Go, Hudson Furniture, Ashley Furniture, Haverty’s, Ethan Allen, Ikea, Kane’s, Scan Design, Pier 1, Thomasville, and Z Gallerie are all nearby. We would love to be able to go out and purchase exactly what you designed! We don’t generally buy furniture online or via catalog- because you can’t try it before you buy it.
Of course, keeping it within a reasonable budget is important. I do not plan to spend more than $800 for a single chair or coffee table; $1500 for a buffet, console, or sofa. We would love to complete project for less than $10,000.
