My submission for Apartment Renovation in Southern Europe contains 3 /three/ options that represent different levels of interventions and spatial organization with maximum diversity of open living space. Renders show how changes influence possibilities within the apartment and how visual impression can be improved simply by adding/removing few walls, yet by keeping same materials.
OPTION 1 Slightly Remodeled
This option keeps existing walls disposition, but suggests small changes in their shape as shown in wall scheme / existing/ new/. Main accent is on living area that undoubtedly needs to be widen. This is achieved by removing wall between living room and bedroom, enlarging existing central bathroom and creating small private study just behind, but connected with living room. Kitchen, dining room and living room are designed to be one, double oriented space. Other areas are slightly changed to fit minimum space regulations. This option provides three bathrooms: one main bathroom near the entrance, and two private bathrooms within bedrooms.
OPTION 2 Remodeled
In this option additional space for living area is created by removing central bathroom and third bedroom and making study a part of the living room. Also kitchen and dining room create one big space with living room and study, provide double orientation and brightness due to three windows that draw additional light into the room. Special asset of this space is pillar that stands as significant detail and enriches visual effectiveness of the space itself. Two bedrooms have mutual bathroom, and one main bathroom is provided next to the entrance.
OPTION 3 Completely renovated
Complete renovation provides maximum comfort and functionality. Living area is maximally enlarged by connecting entire left side of the apartment into one big room with successive disposition of living room, dining room and kitchen. Three windows provide maximum brightness. Apartment has two bedrooms: one master bedroom with private bathroom and double bedroom with use of main bathroom right next to it, placed in entrance zone.
